Weight Lifting Workouts

How To Get A Six Pack focuses on great ab exercises, weight lifting workouts and a strict but sensible abs diet. In our last article, Turn Fat Into Muscle, we described the benefits of building muscles. This article on weight lifting workouts will focus on the workout plan that you need to do to turn fat into muscle.

As discussed in Turn Fat Into Muscle, for each pound of muscle you build your body will automatically burn an extra fifty calories per day. Therefore you have to start disciplined weight lifting workouts.

A strong weight lifting workout needs to focus on all of your muscle groups. I like to start by working out the largest muscle groups first. These large muscle groups like you chest muscles, back muscles and quad will allow you to build the most muscle. And, since you will be building muscle you will turn fat into muscle too.

Here is a list of weight lifting exercises that we will focus on.

1. Squats
2. Bench Press
3. Push-ups
4. Lat Pulldowns
5. Shoulder Press or Military Press
6. Upright Rows
7. Leg Extensions
8. Leg Curls
9. Bicep Curls
10. Tricep Pulldowns

These ten exercises will make up the core of our weight lifting workouts.
